Draft. This document was written for a demonstration site that collects no personal data and has no users. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and must not be relied on for a live service.
What this site is
VanLife Pro is a directory of camper van conversion companies in the United States. It is currently in development and published for review.
Listing accuracy
Listings describe real businesses and are compiled from published industry directories and the builders' own websites. We take reasonable care, but details change constantly in this industry: prices, lead times, ownership and certification status all move. Verify anything that matters directly with the builder before you commit money.
A listing is a factual description, not a recommendation. We have not commissioned or inspected any build. The absence of a business from this site says nothing about it, and its presence is not an endorsement.
We are not party to your build
Any contract you enter is between you and the builder. We take no fee from it, hold no deposit, and have no role in the work, the timeline or any dispute arising from it.
No advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, insurance or engineering advice. Guidance on build costs, certification, insurance and finance is general information written to help you ask better questions, and it is no substitute for talking to your own insurer, lender or a qualified professional.
Liability
This site is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Intellectual property
Site design and code belong to the project owner. Icons are Material Symbols by Google, used under the Apache License 2.0. Typefaces are Schibsted Grotesk and Hanken Grotesk, used under the SIL Open Font License.
Corrections and removal
If you run a business listed here and something is wrong, or you want the entry removed, tell us through the builder form. We will correct or remove it. No reason is required and it is not conditional on paying for anything.
Still to come
These terms are not final. Before launch they need governing law, a formal complaints procedure, and, once any affiliate arrangement exists, a disclosure covering it. Treat this page as an honest statement of position rather than a finished legal document.
